Our head office is in London and most of our clients are UK organisations. Here is what that means in practice, and where it genuinely makes a difference to the work.

## What we do from London

Advisory, engineering and support sit in one team here: readiness assessments that produce a costed plan, assistants grounded in a client's own systems, automation pipelines that write back to the tools a business already runs, and managed support once those things are carrying real load. Every engagement carries the same privacy and security controls.

## Where being in London actually matters

Engineering is remote, and pretending otherwise would be marketing. Three things genuinely benefit from proximity:

- Discovery in the room. Spending a day watching the process you intend to automate is worth more than three remote workshops. Being an hour away makes that easy to arrange rather than an event.

- Regulated sectors. Financial services, legal and insurance concentrate here, and those are the projects where the privacy and audit work is hardest. Being able to get risk, legal and the process owner in one room shortens a project materially.

- Speed of decision. When something needs a face-to-face conversation to unblock it, we can be there the same week.

## Who we work with

Mid-sized UK organisations, typically 50 to 2,000 people, where somebody owns a process that costs real money when it goes wrong and there is appetite to change it. We work with in-house IT teams rather than around them: most of our engagements involve an existing team that knows the estate and wants capacity or a second opinion, not a replacement.

We are a young firm, founded in 2026, which is a reasonable thing to weigh. What we offer against it is that the people who scope the work are the people who build it, and that we will tell you when something is not worth doing.

## Working with us

A first conversation is 45 minutes and costs nothing. If it is useful, the usual next step is a short paid discovery that produces a costed plan you can take to a board, whether or not you then build it with us. Our aim is something running against real data in one process area within 30 days.

## Questions

### Where is AiXL based?

Our head office is in London, United Kingdom, and it covers advisory, engineering and delivery. We work with organisations across the UK and the wider European Economic Area, and we design systems to keep data in the region a client requires.

### Do you work with clients outside London?

Yes. Most engineering is remote, so location rarely constrains delivery. We travel for discovery, for the sessions where decisions get made, and whenever being in the room is faster than another call.

### Do you work alongside an in-house IT team?

Usually, and it tends to be the better arrangement. The in-house team knows the estate and carries it afterwards. We bring capacity and specialist depth for a defined piece of work, then hand over source, infrastructure definitions and runbooks so the team can run it without us.

### What size of organisation do you work with?

Typically mid-sized UK organisations of roughly 50 to 2,000 people, where a specific process has a measurable cost when it goes wrong. Smaller organisations are welcome where the problem is well defined.
